The British boxer Anthony Joshua has been released from care, officials in Lagos stated on late Wednesday. The 36-year-old was caught in a vehicular crash in the Lagos area on Monday, a devastating event that resulted in the deaths of two of his close associates.
Recovering from Minor Injuries
The boxer had been receiving medical attention while healing from his light wounds, his management team confirmed on Monday. A government official, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post on social media that Joshua was judged healthy enough to continue his recovery at home.
“Joshua and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to offer their condolences to his two deceased friends as they were being prepared for repatriation,” Omotosho said.

Those who lost their lives were confirmed to be Latif Ayodele, a personal trainer, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. It was also noted that the champion was filled with sorrow and full of emotions over the passing of his two dear friends.”
