Tributes Continue for the Reiners as Autopsy Reports Are Sealed.

More than two weeks after the tragic deaths of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, friends and colleagues persist in remembering the pair.

Quoting a Classic: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Sharing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, stated he just recently felt ready to share openly about his profound loss.

"Adequate time has passed that I can now articulate my loss into words," shared Elwes, adding that his initial encounter with Reiner made him fall in love. "When we commenced sharing more moments together I realized this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor posted never-before-seen clips from the movie, commenting that he doesn't recollect "any day without mirth".

"The movie is about affection, allegiance and giving. Principles that Rob held dear. This is one of the many reasons he was the ideal person to guide it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, stating: "To say that they were a formidable pair would be an oversimplification. My heart still hurts every time I remember you." He ended with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Fellow Artist

In a distinct tribute, revered director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese highlighted Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the main character.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked wonderfully with the cast, and he grasped the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese noted.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Restricted

In a new development, a Los Angeles court official agreed to prevent the release of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, at the request from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A court order placed a security hold on the investigation to restrict the public release of "any investigative information, evidence and photographs" pertaining to the ongoing investigation.

The relevant authority had earlier stated their deaths were the outcome of foul play, with a official listing citing the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".

Response and Criticism

Following the deaths, public figures offered varying responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, offering controversial remarks that were met with immediate backlash by several commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his criticism to the those speaking out last week. Speaking on his show, Rogan labeled the comments as "shocking" and implied they showed a concerning lack of empathy.

Rogan finished by remarking that an associate should have intervened when the choice to speak on the tragedy was made.
